About the Speakers
Marrio Jeter is the Director of Operations at Communities In Schools of Cape Fear where he has worked for the past 10 years. After earning his Bachelor of Arts In Political Science and Public Administration at North Carolina Central University, Mr. Jeter began his 18-year career of public service to New Hanover County through the NC Department of Corrections, NC Department of Public Safety and New Hanover County Schools. He is a passionate servant-leader, mentor, and visionary that works to improve the workplace and every sector of the community with data-driven results. He is the father of two wonderful children, Justus:16, Grayce: age 13, and has been married to his college sweetheart Angela for 17 years.
Melissa Phillippi, Co-Founder, and President of Performance Culture, Inc., helps leaders improve their company culture through focus, accountability, and team chemistry. She developed the Performance Culture “Coach the Coach” program to help organizations build a coaching culture that engages employees and improves workplace satisfaction. She earned a BS in Economics from UNCW.
